A step by step guide to custom
We start by having a discussion with you about your wishes, budget, and time frame. Whether you have an idea board, know exactly what you want, or have no idea where to begin, you will have our expert artisans to help you. We design & manufacture everything in house which ensures you get our extraordinary craftsmanship and our personal touch at a great value.
CAD Creation
This is a realistic computer rendering of your piece. This is the process that brings your sketched and verbalized ideas to life. Our design team collaborates to ensure we get every detail just right for you and the stability, design cohesivness, and stone security are perfected.
Wax Carving & Model Making
Once the CAD rendering has been approved we move into creating the physical wax or resin model. We have our own 3D printers & growers as well as hand wax carves onsite, to create the perfect blend of artistry & ingenuity.
Casting
Once the design has been approved, the model is now ready for casting. Our in house casting facility allows us to cast each piece perfectly for the best quality and cost efficiency while putting our attention to every detail.
Stone Setting
After casting the next process is stone setting. We always hand set each stone bringing expert detailing to all areas to create perfection. While working under bench microscopes our master crafstmen do this in house. You are invited to visit our showroom & watch our artists hard at work through the glass windows.
Texture and Detailing
The final stage of the custom process includes adding texture & finishes. Before delivery we double check all details to ensure all your requests have been carefully followed and the design has been executed accurately by our master crafstmen.
Time Line
Most projects take about 3-4 weeks total.
As your design moves through the processes it looks like this; 1st-3rd week in the
Design, Cad & Wax phase and 2nd-4th week final design approval to completion.
Design times can vary so make sure to leave yourself enough time to enjoy this process.
